Help the club with A.T. maintenance and spend a rewarding day alongside devoted A.T. volunteers to make a difference.
This important maintenance is what keeps the Appalachian Trail alive. For this work day, volunteers will be working on a section of the Appalachian Trail between Wind Gap and Little Gap, PA. The work will include clipping back branches and briars, removing fallen logs and repainting blazes (as needed). Please call or email for details within a few days of the work date. Rain will cancel.
Participants should wear sturdy boots and long pants. Please bring plenty of water, lunch, and snacks in a small knapsack. It’s a good idea to also bring work gloves, if you have them, as well as, rain gear, bug repellent, and sun protection. Wear or pack layers, since weather can change quickly.
The deadline to sign up for this project online has passed.
