Leaders in Conservation Awards Gala 2017

The ATC’s annual Leaders in Conservation Awards Gala is in its eighth year and brings a diverse group of nearly 200 individuals, including corporate executives, major donors, members of Congress, high-ranking officials from the Departments of Interior and Agriculture, and nonprofit partners.

Join us in 2017 at Jones Day Terrace Ballroom on Wednesday, July 12 for a cocktail reception and seated dinner overlooking our Nation’s Capitol Building.

The program for the evening is centered on a bipartisan salute to elected and appointed leaders who have been instrumental in advancing legislation, regulation or practices supporting conservation and outdoor recreation opportunities. Congressional Leadership Awards are also given at this time and Corporate Sponsors are recognized.

This year’s gala theme is “Be Part of the Story”. We will bring the ATC’s mission to life through real stories of triumph surrounding the preservation and management of the Appalachian Trail and its more than 45,000 members, 31 local maintaining clubs and 6,500+ volunteers who give 270,000 hours of their time each year.

This page will be updated with additional details over the coming weeks. Learn more at appalachiantrail.org/gala2017. For information on sponsor benefits, contact Tiffany Lawrence at [email protected].
